Why do I lose artillery to enemy infantry when their infantry hasn't even reached my artillery yet? In Game 114358 I am East Libya and I'm at war with Morocco. I had 6 artillery pieces and about 100 men in a single unit stack. Morocco sent somewhere between 30-50 infantry towards my unit stack. My artillery started firing at the enemy once they came in range. I logged on and saw what was left of his men(15-30Inf) were 30mins away. I then separated my infantry from my artillery and sent my infantry about 10mins ahead of my artillery. This way my artillery could still fire at the enemy infantry while they engage my men, then I logged off. When I logged back on I had lost 3 artillery pieces and about 15 Inf. The men I lost I can understand why but my artillery. His men didn't even reach them yet, but I lost 3 and I wonder why.
