So I accidentally clicked on goldmark icon in Slim Desing and was redirected to the page where you can buy goldmarks, this page:

And I noticed, that they have added new goldmark offers. What really hit my eyes was the last one. Yapp, 6 m GM for 999€ . According to todays rate, that equals 1300 US dollars.
Now, my question is: who on Earth would, even under ONE second, consider buying GMs worth 1300 USD?!? That's like 20 brand new PC games, and I don't mean some sh*t flash games, I mean games like BF3, MW3, Dead Island. Or you could just buy a brand new PC, and a good one too. You could buy a friggin CAR for f*** sake, not a very good car though, but still a car. One-room apartment in NY costs about 200$. You could live in NY for 6 months for that kind of money for crying out loud! That's like a month payment for some people (like me).
I mean if you look at HC 1 year membership it costs 49€. And I COULD, in fact, consider buying it. Its a good price. 70 bucks to be able to do some cool stuff during an entire year in an online game that I really like and enjoy playing and would like to support, that's okay, it's a good price. Although 70$ is not an amount of money I would remember spending, after 2-3 months. But 1300$?!??! I mean seriously, let me spell it for you: THIRTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR SOME SH*T IN AN ONLINE GAME?
Are the devs serious??? Or is this like a joke offer? See the thing is... I KNOW devs are serious. They actually walk around in their homes and think that someone is rich or crazy enough to pay that much money. And I want to know who! If any of you ever make this deal, actually pay 1300 USD for some in-real-life completely useless game stuff, please PM me. I really want to know why a person would do that.
I honestly think that gaining all the money from GMs (which i believe is not that little) have made devs crazy. Seriously, like crazy. They no longer know what is reality and what isn't.
Cause there are "game" money (the money that you spend on games) and "real life" money. I mean, game money are usually somewhere between 10$ and 100$, in some cases if you are a real hardcore player and have a summerbreak, then 200$. But 1300$??? And for a game LIKE THIS?!?!? No offence, but... SERIOUSLY???
I am shocked, I still am. I really hope that devs come in here and say "Yea, that was just a joke, we have not lost our minds to consider someone paying one thousand euro to get some GMs."
The real funny thing, the real joke... is on them, the devs. Why? Because those who use GMs (at least in this amount, cause someone who buys 6 million GMs is probably buying them for other reasons than joining 1200 goldrounds...) are not even respected in this game, by majority of players. Most of us consider GMs a BAD thing (clearly visible in current single player tourn.).
So, where is the world going to? I remember when I joined in 2009, and I read in the old news section how it all begun. The devs were just a group of young, intelligent students, who came up with this great idea that later became this game. And by then, when I joined (which was about 3-4 years after they started this game), that was the atmosphere, that was what I FELT, why I stayed in this game. But the past two years, loss of the communication between them and the players, GMs... Hhhhhh. Well, what can I say? I am STILL shocked.
So, to conclude this. If you ever buy GMs worth 1300 USD, just PM me and tell me why. I will probably think you are crazy, but I WILL respect your honesty.
