I'm playing England in game 123661 and sweden declared war then sent a force to invade.
Instead of disembarking his force, however, he stalled at the beach probably counting on me sending my forces into the water to attack him.
Because he was in the water and not disembarking commanding my units to attack would have involved several hours of embarkation before reaching the water and the enemy so I too stalled at the beach unsure what to do.
when I did this, without commanding them to attack, my forces engaged the enemy : his in the water (not disembarking) and mine on the shore (not embarking).
