OK... so I get there is a degree of both the luck factor and a certain amount of randomness built into the battle mechanics ... I get that ... It makes for a more interesting game ... but ....
THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR:
22.6 strength infintry (87% morale) vs. a 1.5 strength artillary (100% morale) to lose 2 hours in a row (total of 2.6 pts) and not do a single tenth of damage to the artillary ... especially since the artillary is targeting a completely different unit with its bombardment ... we are in the middle of the road in a province that I control ... The original odds were greater than FIFTEEN TO ONE (22.6 to 1.5) ... it should have been a straight out over-run ... and possibly, with those odds ... be able to capture the artillary
