Hey, A couple of days ago I was browsing YouTube for S1914 videos and I watched the tutorials.
And I heard that when the tutorial sends an army to attack, it gives off a sound, and this gave me an idea. When we command armies (attack, move) or if you click to a unit that is in a fight, or just sitting docks, a very particular sound sounds off.
Selecting - A sound of a group of soldiers, or an officer calling on the troops to assemble.
Moving - A marching sound, accompanied by a sound of vehicles, or tank tracks.
Attacking - An officer calling out a command to his men.
Selecting an Army that is attacking or under attack - The sound of troops fighting and shouting, gunshots, and blast.
Selecting an Artillery piece/Battleship Bombarding - Sounds of Howitzer fire and an officer calling out commands.
Selecting troops on sea - Sound of ships passing by, sound of morse code telegram.
Selecting an Air Squadron - Sound of airplane engines starting
Selecting an Air Squadron Bombing - Sound of falling bombs, and blasts.
Selecting an Air Squadron fighting - Plane engines, machine gun fire, plane sounds (Stuka sound)
Selecting Tanks/ ACs - Sounds of tank tracks, tank commander calling out orders.
I hope this could make the game more realistic, cause I would really be entertained if I heard my troops fighting, or at least an officer, nagging to his troops.
