Historic map feature selection.

I am trying to start a game on the Historic map. Everything seems fine, and I have created other games without difficulty. However, I cannot select 'no teams'; I just want a game with 8 individual Leaders. Any help would be appreciated.

While I am here... I created a game on the new Middle East map... no problem. Now it is not showing up as an option, although I see that there are other openings with this map waiting to be filled. Unfortunately none with an honour period. ;(
