Tryouts will consist of talking to couple members of COBRA (via chat room feature of Skype, no video chat) for vetting and the top 8 candidates will be chosen to have a mock alliance game. 4 tryouts and one team leader on each side.
Just for your own personal gain I suggest that you read some of The Art of War. I keep my own copy and it has helped me along life's pathway.
