So, I think old design has a lot nicer look than the new design but the new design is a lot easier and has more features. I would like to see a completely new design or the current design changed. What I would like to see:
1.) Fonts of the old design. They look old, more appropriate for a WW1 game and a lot nicer looking.
2.) Resource icons of the new design. Resource icons of the old design are very confusing and look pretty ugly. I often confuse iron ore with coal and accept wrong offers on the stock market.
3.) Army icons of the new design. I don't like the pins, they are confusing and icons look nicer (there should still be an option to change army paint mode to pins). The icons look a bit like WW2 but I have no idea for something better to represent an army. The highlight around them (it is currently blue highlight for your own armies, green for allied armies, red for enemy armies) should be the colour of the country (as an example, dark blue highlight around a Spanish army, yellow highlight around an Italian army etc.), not the relation to your country (like pins bear the colour of their country).
4.) In-game chat. It should however use the old design fonts and black colour of the font instead of white and be on a light background (not transparent like in new design). User names should be dark blue, user names of the mods dark red (not bold), and your own username dark grey. Names shouldn't be underlined.
