I'm terribly sorry if I am repeating a common suggestion.
Mods feel free to remove the post if that's the case.
What I want to discuss is how many people would be willing to pay for a game with GMs disabled?
I was thinking a 'bare knuckles' or 'gloves off' game. Perhaps only for HC subscribers.
I left this game just about the time that GMs were brought in (for other reasons) and am back to see that they have gone fairly well. I hope Bytro are finally getting a return for the years and years of developing what really is a fantastic game, for role players and strategists alike.
I am more than happy to buy the HC just to support the team, but have not yet because I feel that with GMs active on all games, I will lose games simply because someone is willing to throw money at it. With a GM free game that costs the player (either directly or by subscription) the game can make money, and players who want to dump heaps of money into a game they're invested in can still do so against those who aren't prepared to pay to have the feature turned off, so the bigger earning potential is still there.
Again, sorry to repeat, but I do it in the interest of the game.
