I would normally report this as a bug, but as I am kinda enjoying the advantages of what is on offer, I am reluctant to. First I need to establish whether it is actually part of the game mechanics or not. Doesn't make sense to me, but it has happened in a few of my games now.
If you notice on the attached stockmarket values, take heed of the oil column. There is confliction of prices where buyer and seller meet. If someone is trying to buy 539 units of oil at $11.1, then shouldn't that automatically deduct from the 6,823 units available for $6.5? I have found that there may be 3 or 4 bids higher than the lowest asking price. And when I see that, I see dollar signs! I would buy up all the units at the low price and sell them at the high. Nice profit WE!
