When was the first time you were back stabbed

I know everyone had it happen at least once to them. What country were you and how did it happen. Also what did you learn.

For me, it was my second game playing supremacy. I was Morocco and my ally was West Algeria. We then attacked FWA together. Being new, I sucked. A little later, I proposed we should invade Spain. And this is where I will make my dumbest mistake. He said it was a good idea, and would move troops to my provinces for "protection" while I invaded Spain. Well I finally had my troops stacked at tangiers. And then I find my half my country wiped out while some still fight.

I learned that having a share map doesn't always mean your ally will be your friend. It's a war game after all.
